SigTel Inc. is a certified Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) company serving the West Coast utility infrastructure market. SigTel is comprised of a broad range of experts in electric distribution infrastructure who help clients map out their projects from inception to completion.
SigTel Inc. was started by Robert Morrow in 1995 after getting his contractors license’s. In the past 38 years we have successfully completed thousands of electrical, underground and telecom projects for IOU providers, prime contractors and municipalities. Being a Service Disabled Veteran Owned & Operated business, SigTel maintains a loyal staff of highly capable managers, supervisors, skilled technicians. After three decades, we know what our customers expect. Our knowledge and experience minimizes risk, while maintaining a high standard of work attaining a high standard of safety as first priority.


SigTel is registered and certified with California Department of General Services as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and a Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) and with the Supplier Clearinghouse Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) also a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Meet The Team
Robert Morrow
President / CEO
Robert brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in the Civil Construction, telecommunications industry. He has been establishing and maintaining wire communications since 1979, when he began serving in the US. Army Signal Corps.
After leaving the Service, Robert served as a lineman and worked with various Contractors in all aspects of Line Construction, as well as in various Telco and CATV companies. Robert is a hands-on kind of guy with 38 years’ experience — in the field and as an owner of a company. Robert has been recognized for his efforts by the EDD and the California Advisory Counsel for hiring returning Veterans and service disabled Veterans from Iraq & Afghanistan.
He has received numerous awards including the Small Business Administration’s Award as the Region IX Veteran Small Business Champion of the Year out of 5 states, and the Department of Veterans Affairs John K Lopez Award. Robert his son and another combat Veteran employee received a presidential invitation to the White House Rose Garden in 2008.
Robert previously sat on Cal-vet. The state of California Department of Veterans Affairs DVBE Advisory Council, and serverd as advisory council member for the CPUC Council for DVBEs from 2016-2018





John Jaramillo
John Jaramillo graduated from Associated Technical College in 1992 with a diploma in Telecommunications. He began his career at CWS (Communication Wiring Specialists) in San Diego, where he installed Cat 5 cabling for various projects. During this time, he was loaned to Hewlett-Packard, managing network infrastructure projects, including adds, moves, and changes (MAC) for their network. His responsibilities included fabricating amphinols, connecting coax network cabling, and working with Cat 5 and various sizes of Cat 3 wiring.
In 1995, John returned to Orange County and worked for several companies. He gained extensive experience in network cabling, low-voltage systems, and telecommunications infrastructure during this period.
In December 1997, John joined Pacific Bell as an Installation and Repair (I&R) Technician, where he specialized in servicing copper network infrastructure. Over the years, he adapted to industry advancements and became a Maintenance Splicer for copper and a Fusion Splicer for fiber optic cabling, working on both outside plant and inside installations. Through the mergers with SBC and AT&T, John continued to expand his skills and expertise in telecommunications.
John remained with AT&T for 22 years until 2020, when he decided to pursue new opportunities, bringing with him a wealth of experience in network infrastructure, splicing, and telecommunications technology.
